The studio

Objects the sea might have made.

Oustre casts sterling silver the way the sea shapes rock: slowly, one piece at a time.

How a piece begins

Nothing here is made in advance. A piece begins when someone reserves it: a wax model, an investment, a pour, six to eight weeks at the bench. The forms come from erosion: knots, shorelines, algae. Shapes that look found rather than manufactured, finished by hand.

Three facts

Cast when reserved
Every order triggers an individual lost-wax casting. No inventory, no warehouse, no waste.
Forms from the sea
Three collections, each traceable to a specific coastal form: a knot, a shoreline, sea algae.
Two cities, one bench
Designed in Los Angeles, cast by artisans in Bangkok. The supply chain is named plainly, on the product page, before checkout.

The material

Everything is 925 sterling silver. Surfaces are left uneven where the process leaves them uneven: hammer marks kept, edges irregular, forms off-center. Each piece is cast from its collection's original form only after it is reserved, then finished by hand at the bench.
